End Recordings’ ‘Yeahdancetomyrecordbitch’ is an essential release that does just what it says on the tin. Produced by 1UP - aka Ravi McArthur of Impossible Beings - it’s a sonic command to take to the dancefloor, backed by a Kiki & Silversurfer mix that takes it to the moon and back.
The 1UP original is a dark and brooding electro-house track with a techno mentality. Cutting its way through the dance floor traffic like a plutonium-revved dodgem let loose on the highway, it’s spiked with acidic synth sounds, nasty guitar samples and dissonant vocal effects. Immediately evoking lost hours on the dancefloor, ‘Yeahdancetomyrecordbitch’, leaves no option but to let the music take control.
The Kiki & Silversurfer mix takes the track into more spaced-out minimal territory, gearing the sounds up into a relentless tech-house groove before allowing them to take flight into the bleep bleep beyond.
